KUUMBA KIDS DANCE
2022 SUMMER CAMP

Donna Callender of Harambee and Artistic Director of Kuumba Kids Dance, LLC is the first Traditional West African Dance & Caribbean Dance and Arts Summer Camp for students ages 5-13

that has an emphasis on cultural enrichment for children in the Oak Park and River Forest Community. In addition to Traditional West African, Afrobeat, Caribbean and hip hop dance, art, poetry, and circle time. Circle time consists of breathing, yoga, and sharing.

Camp schedule

KKD Summer Camp will run from 9am to 11am at Longfellow Park

(We will still social distance and dance 6ft apart if required)

Monday / Tuesday /Thursday / Friday - Dance and Art  

Wednesday's - Dance and Poetry

Scholarships are available with the Oak Park Township Senior Center at 130 S Oak Park Ave for students ages 13 and older.

Camp cost $100 per child per week (includes art kit)
